2023/4 Griffith LSA Elections

Griffith LSA is the elected representative body of all students enrolled in the Griffith Law School who complete their studies on the Gold Coast campus. Through our service offerings, we strive to provide our students with innovative ways to meaningfully connect with the legal profession, industry opportunities and their peers. We view our members and students as future legal professionals and constantly try to develop them both as professionals and as socially-conscious members of the legal profession through creativity, inclusiveness and integrity.

The Griffith LSA Committee is elected annually. All current voting members of Griffith LSA are, subject to applicable law and the rules, eligible to nominate for any position and vote in the election. This years election will be held at our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 7 November at 6pm.

If you have any queries in respect of the election, please do not hesitate to contact the current president by email at president@griffithlsa.org.au.

Why nominate?

Nominating in our 2023 election is your opportunity to be part of something bigger. You’ll be able to make a difference in your law school and make sure that our students have access to remarkable opportunities. If elected, you will play a critical role in leadership, governance and strategy, while supporting our members and the student body more broadly.

Joining Griffith LSA will give you great opportunities to help advance our students’ academic and professional skills as well as their social lives in meaningful ways. All the while, you’ll regularly be coming into contact with the profession and academics in the Griffith Law School. Griffith LSA seeks to facilitate the growth of our law school and association while developing our student body more broadly.
